Burt's Bees and Mike's Hot Honey brought a familiar sweet-and-spicy flavor to a limited-edition lip balm in 2025. The collaboration was real; a flavor partnership does not establish that the balm plumps lips, performs like a food ingredient or is still available from every seller.

This dated report has no paid recommendations or purchase links. It separates the launch announcement from the manufacturer status observed on October 17, 2026.

The documented launch was May 29, 2025

The brands' May 28, 2025 announcement set the launch for May 29, 2025. It described a limited-edition hot-honey-flavored beeswax lip balm, available at launch through Burt's Bees' website and TikTok Shop while supplies lasted.

The announced $3.99 price belongs to that launch. It is not a verified current price or a promise that a seller will honor it today.

Mike's Hot Honey's own news page also documents the collaboration. Its July 31, 2025 page date should not be confused with the May launch date.

A flavored balm is different from the condiment

The announcement describes a formulated lip balm. It does not instruct readers to apply bottled hot honey to their lips or to make a home lip treatment from the condiment.

Honey and chili photographs in this report illustrate the flavor theme. They do not show the collaboration's balm, establish its ingredient proportions or document Teddy Danielson testing it.

Read performance wording as a brand claim

The brands described the balm as moisturizing. This report has no independent product test or clinical evidence establishing its performance. It does not promise a particular sensation, duration of moisture or plumping effect.

The flavor name also does not establish what every user will feel. Read the exact product's current ingredient list and directions rather than using a food description as a formula or skin-care instruction.

Manufacturer status was out of stock at this check

On October 17, 2026, the manufacturer's collaboration product page displayed an out-of-stock notice during our public-page check. That is a dated observation. It does not establish permanent discontinuation or a future restock date.

No current selling price, delivery date or completed checkout is verified here. The original launch channels describe where the collaboration began; they are not a promise of current inventory.

Keep packages and sellers distinct

Burt's Bees' exclusives and bundles catalog separately named a Buzz On-The-Go Bundle Ft. Mike's Hot Honey at this check. A bundle entry does not establish that the original single balm is available, nor does it verify the bundle's current contents or price.

Regular honey, vanilla-honey and caramel-apple lip balms are different products. Their listings and photographs should not be substituted for this collaboration. This report makes no recommendation to buy from a reseller and does not certify a reseller's authenticity, stock or storage practices.

No matching exact Amazon package has been verified for this report, so there is no Amazon recommendation or affiliate link for the balm.

Future collaborations remain unannounced here

The sources reviewed for this report do not announce follow-on hot-honey glosses, scrubs, masks or body products. They also do not support homemade skin or hair treatments using the condiment.
